Our goal

We educate highly competitive experts in intercultural communication: professional translators, interpreters, and researchers in translation and interpreting theory and practice, as well as practitioners in the intercultural communications and international area studies perspectives, which are fundamental to professional communication across languages and cultures. The skills of students, who chose this Direction, are based on an excellent command of their working languages, wide-ranging communicative and research skills, and thorough familiarity with the theory and practice of translating and interpreting. Our graduates find employment in the public and private sectors or as self-employed entrepreneurs. In addition to translating and intepreting, many work as consultants, educators and researchers, or in a variety of communications professions at the managerial level.

We offer graduate courses to full-time and correspondent students to obtain the degree of

  • Masters of Philology on the basis of Bachelor’s degree. The course of study lasts for one year.
  • Specialists in Translation on the basis of Bachelor’s degree. The course of study lasts for one year.
  • Bachelor of Philology. The course of study lasts for four years
  • Bachelors of Philology: Language and Literature (English). The course of study lasts for four years
